Wolfgang Witzel has been General Manager of Lorenz Archiv-Systeme GmbH since 1990 and has successfully built the international LORENZ Life Sciences Group divisions. His extensive involvement and experience in the registration and documentation management of pharmaceuticals has made him an internationally recognized expert in the pharmaceutical industry and beyond. Since 2008, Wolfgang has also been leading the "Information Management" module for the Regulatory Affairs Masters Degree at the University of Bonn.
Raoul-A. Lorenz has been the CEO of the LORENZ Life Sciences Group since 2006. After he completed his studies at the European Business School in the UK, he started with LORENZ in 1996. In 1999, he became CEO of reg123.com Limited, a regulatory affairs information portal. Since 2000, he has taken on successive Directorships at LORENZ, including the UK, US, Canadian, German and finally the Indian divisions of the LORENZ Life Sciences Group. Prior to becoming the CEO, Raoul was appointed VP Sales & Marketing for the Group in 2003. Raoul has also led workshops at numerous events on electronic submissions in Europe, North America and Australia, as well as presented on the topic at DIA, BIRA/TOPRA, and others. He was also the chairman of the Drug Information Association (DIA) Special Interest Area Committee for Communications & Publications in 2001/2002.
Since 1995, Akira Yamaguchi's main field of activity has been electronic submission projects and the development of the entire docuBridge product line. Akira has frequently been a speaker around the world on the topic of electronic submissions and is one of the top internationally recognized experts in electronic submission design and processes. Between 1983 and 1994, he pursued an international career in management consulting and information technology at Hoechst AG and Software AG in Germany as well as Comshare International Ltd. in the UK.
Yaprak Eisinger joined LORENZ Life Sciences Group in 2006. In her capacity as Managing Director, she is growing and managing LORENZ Life Sciences Group's North American division. In her prior experience as a Principal with CSC Index, Yaprak successfully sold and delivered projects focusing on operational strategy and software implementations across many industries. Prior to that, Yaprak worked for GE's Aerospace Division and ran her own consulting business. Yaprak has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.
Dr. Philipp Wiederhold has been with LORENZ Life Sciences Group since 2014. Prior to being appointed COO Europe, Philipp had the responsibility for Corporate Development of the Group. Since 2016 he has been a member of the Executive Board. Before joining LORENZ, Philipp worked as an M&A advisor in investment banking for more than six years. Prior to that, he had different accounting and controlling roles in the corporate, in the educational and in the standards setting space. Philipp has a Ph.D. in Accounting & Controlling from Goethe University Frankfurt.
Hiroji Emoto has been President and CEO of Digital Media System Co., Ltd. (DMS) since 2001. His experience includes time in the navy, as well as the financial, newspaper and pharmaceutical industries. DMS has been a partner of LORENZ and distributor of docuBridge in Japan since 2004.
Prior to joining LORENZ, Mr. Emoto created GLP documents in Japan as early as 1989. He has been working together with Quark Inc. for two decades as a Japanese XTension developer, which led to the development of an English newspaper editing system that was used in both the Yomiuri Shimbun and Asahi Shimbun Japanese newspapers.
Currently, he is helping to move the Japanese pharmaceutical industry into the digital era. With the LORENZ Life Sciences Group he is focusing on the eCTD and working to streamline digital business processes in Japan.
